Whether you live in Arizona or not, this is definitely a place you need to stop by or add to your bucket list and Grand Canyon itinerary. It’s not a stop that takes consumes too much time and would easily fit within any schedule you have planned. The views are mesmerizing and no photos can truly capture the feeling you get when you look over the Colorado River. It’s a spot you shouldn’t forget to visit.
A hotspot in everyone’s travel list is the Grand Canyon. It’s a great place with beautiful views and easy hikes, making it perfect for everyone! However, because it’s such a popular location to visit, trying to find a hotel to sleep at can be difficult. Most lodges within the Grand Canyon are extremely expensive and very booked up. Luckily, I found out where to stay for the Grand Canyon: Williams, Arizona.
A trip to the Arizona Grand Canyon is great to plan if you’re looking for breathtaking views and a dose of the past. The Canyon itself is a history book, showing layer by layer how long ago it has existed. Even the Vishnu Basement Rock layer has been around for 1840-1680 million years. The colorado river had even once filled the many crevices 5-6 millions years ago and at one point, people of the past called this place home. Luckily now, it is safe for us to visit and take a look at the past. If you’re limited on time, here’s my 1 day Arizona Grand Canyon Itinerary.
