Halloween is all about sweets, candy, chips, and everything that would upset our bodies and rot our teeth. For the children, and for us, it can’t be good at all. I’m trying to eat healthier, so all that it a no-no. Instead, I decided to play in the kitchen to find out what I can make that’s sweet, healthy, and still taste pretty damn amazing. Each of these recipes are slightly similar to one another, making it easy to make all of them. I hope you enjoy them!
This is my absolute favourite and tastiest of my healthy Halloween treats series. I have a sweet tooth for dark chocolate, and this is the best to satiate my cravings! It also reminds me of Reese cups. I mean- if it’s dark chocolate, it has to be kind of healthy, right? haha.
One of my favourite healthy halloween treats is devilled eggs. They are a great source of protein, and you can adjust the taste to whatever you want it to be. If you feel a little spicy, add some hot sauce. If you feel more savoury, mix in some chives or coriander. The possibilities are endless! Adjust the recipe to your liking since we all like something different!
These have to be the cutest healthy Halloween treats that I have made this year. They are my absolute favourite and SO EASY to make. Not to mention it’s great for kids! With cute faces smiling at you, what more can you want? This is also great for making with the kids. Give them a sharpie and let them draw the faces on the disposable shot ups themselves! let their imaginations run wild!
