Free Warframe Kubrodon Plushie Pattern

DIY Warframe Kubrodon Plushie Pattern

One of my recent favourite games to play with Daniel is Warframe. I’m not usually into sci-fi looking games, but the variety of gameplay and literally endless content was what got me hooked. They then released Fortuna, their second ‘open world’, and out came the floofs! I instantly fell in love with the Kubrodon floof and decided I had to have one in real life, so I DIY-ed it.

12 Activities and Games for Long Distance Relationships

Being in a long distance relationship is tough. Not only do you lack the joy of just having your significant other with you, but you have to compensate and find other ways of communication and entertainment that you can’t do in person. You can’t just go to the movies or sit on the couch with each other watching TV. You can’t go on cute dates or go travelling together. You can’t stay at home and cook together. At least not while you two are apart. Long distance relationships are hard to keep up and I find that that take a […]

$1 Cheap and Reuseable Makeup Remover

Believe it or not, this makeup remover really is reuseable and cheap. It almost sounds too good to be true and I too was skeptical about the whole idea of it. And to be honest, this has changed my life and I’m never going back. I no longer use any of my old makeup removers. And yes, that include those convenient makeup removing wipes and my beloved Biotherm Balm-to-Oil Cleanser. Want to know what this holy reuseable makeup remover is? Well I’ll tell you.

So, after many trial and errors, I have 3 recipes to share made out of: lentils, rice, and cauliflower. If you want a video, I’ll have it linked at the bottom of this post.

Mojo Bowl Acai Bowl Review

I’m sure you’ve heard about bloggers and Youtubers raving about Acai bowls. I’ve wanted to try it for a long time, but I’ve been holding back because I figured it was generally the same as what I make myself for breakfast sometimes. But since it’s close to where I live, it seemed appropriate to try it out and see if it actually tastes good or if people are just saying it’s “good” because it’s a superfood. I got to find out the truth behind Acai bowls.

3 Vegan Rice Ball (Onigiri) Recipes For When You Have No Food

I was in quite the dire situation with little to no food in the fridge and pantry. I wasn’t going to be grocery shopping anytime soon, so I needed quick meal I could make out of what I had on hand. And of course, the one thing that you can depend on is rice balls or onigiri.  Onigiri are rice balls formed into either spherical or triangular shapes and wrapped with nori. I obviously didn’t have the traditional ingredients like sticky rice or nori, so I altered the recipes quite a bit. After making onigiri, I have come to learn that it […]

Colette Grand Cafe Toronto Review

I checked out Colette Grand Cafe in Toronto to see if it matches up with the reputation it has on Instagram. Is it as good as it seems online on Instagram? On Instagram, when you look up Colette, you see beautiful, bright, delicious foods with instagram-worthy backdrops and floor-drops for photos. Many bloggers and Instagramers visit the cafe to get professional looking photos without trying too hard. My friend Linda had her birthday shoot here, so it was a great chance for Esther, Linda, and I to check out how the place really looked and how the food tasted.

KISS Fall and Holiday 2016 Collection Preview

Not too long ago, I had the pleasure of attending the KISS Fall and Holiday 2016 Collection. It was a pleasant experience at Delysees in Toronto. I have always heard of Delysees and seen many of the delicious pictures, but I had never been there. Being a girl close to Toronto, but still quite the commute away, it’s hard to drag me down there just for food. However, I finally got the chance to try it today! I had the vanilla eclair and it tastes sweet but light. They also offered wine for the guests and thai rolled ice cream! […]

A Place You Need to Stop By in Texas: National Videogame Museum

This museum is by far my favourite place in Texas. The National Videogame Museum is the happiest place on earth for me. I can be a nerd, I love games, I love playing them, I love watching game plays, it’s just all around fun for me. I appreciate the history of games and how they’ve evolved and this place is all about that. The other museums like the Dallas Art Museum and Frisco Heritage Museum don’t even compare. I had so much fun here and I’d totally go back again to play more games!

That means if you buy one of these essentials, you most likely will not need to replace it for a long time. These fashion essentials are worth the investment to buy high quality versions.

Ruelo Afternoon Tea Review

I’ve always wanted to try afternoon or high tea. It always looked so classy, posh, and delicious. Any time I see desserts beautifully plated, it wins me over and I want it. Now, afternoon tea tends to be very pricy. It’s usually minimum $30 per person. Some prices even go up to a whopping $70 each. I’m sure the high end tea places have much more luxury desserts and teas, but it’s totally out of my budget. Luckily, I found a Groupon for afternoon tea for two at Ruelo. How much was it? Only $30 for TWO! What a deal! […]

Quick & Easy Healthy Popcorn Topping Recipes

Popcorn is one of my favourite snacks. I love it because it is crispy, low in calories, and tastes good by itself or mixed in with toppings. I originally shared with you one recipe in my healthy late night snacks video a while back. It wasn’t exactly a ‘recipe’, but more like just slathering Sriracha on top (which by the way tastes amazing).  Since then, I’ve been experimenting with what I’ve got in my kitchen to see if I can more different flavours I can share with my friends since not all my friends can eat spicy. Any excuse I have […]

Sweet Note Desserts Review

Sweet Note is a dessert cafe located in Markham. I’m quite fond of sweets and tea, so I figured Sweet Note would be a great place to visit. Plus, the sign is pretty cute, so the food has to be good, RIGHT? RIGHT?!Upon walking in, it’s a small interior, but pleasantly decorated. The cafe was clean with all white furniture ranging from regular to high top tables. The front also has a glass display with colourful treats you can purchase to go. Sweet Note had: milk mousse, cupcakes, cake of the day, and macarons behind the glistening glass. The tables […]
